Graphic Design
Graphic Design, an aspect of Visual Communications, involves the use of visual elements such as symbols and imagery to convey ideas and information. It is one of the three types of communication along with verbal and nonverbal communication. While there are roots going back eons before the Industrial Revolution, that period of the 1700s spurred a new method of printing, that inked designs of text and images onto a stone or metal surface, then transferred that to paper.
This came to be called lithography and became an important aspect of industrialists' product marketing strategies. Even though we have many more media available to us now, businesses still want to ensure that the proper visuals are in place for their products and services. Our approach is to come to a full understanding of the business needs of our clients, help them focus on the right customer base, and then craft the visual artifacts needed for the strategy. A vital part of that strategy is the delivery method that the artifacts need.
We handle everything from logo to publication design. If it’s a print job, we handle all of the pre-press to the proofing, then ensure printed materials are properly delivered. For digital works, we make sure that the file format, dimensions, and optimizations are as they need to be for the final product.
Here are some examples of our work.
